Wire Transfer Instructions

Fowler State Bank provides its customers the ability to both receive or send a domestic or international wire transfer.  

Domestic Incoming Wires

For a wire transfer from another institution located within the United States, you will need to provide the other institution with the following information:

Your account number, name and address as it appears on your account
Fowler State Bank's routing transit number:  102101412

Domestic Outgoing Wires

To make a wire transfer from your account at Fowler State Bank to another institution within the United States, you will need to speak with an officer at the bank.  This can be done in person or on the phone.  To complete the wire transfer, first ensure that you have sufficient funds for the amount of the wire transfer plus our current wire transfer fee.  Our current fee schedule can be found here.  Once you have verified the availability of good funds, you will need to provide the officer with the following information:

The recipient's account number, name, and address as it appears on their account
The institution's routing transit number - NOTE:  
Some larger institutions have different routing numbers specifically for wire transfers that differ from their branch routing number.  Please confirm this number with the recipient's institution.
Any additional relevant information or instructions for the recipient.

International Incoming Wires

For a wire transfer from an institution located outside the United States, the wire transfer will need to be routed through Wells Fargo Bank and then on to Fowler State Bank.  You will need to provide the following information:

Wire routing transit number:  121000248
SWIFT Code: WFBIUS6S
Bank Name:  Wells Fargo Bank
City, State:  San Francisco, CA

Then, you will indicate "For Further Benefit To" to ensure the wire continues all the way to Fowler State Bank.  The information in the section "For Further Benefit To" will contain the following information:

Your account number, name and address as it appears on your account
Fowler State Bank's routing transit number:  102101412

International Outgoing Wires

To make a wire transfer from your account at Fowler State Bank to another institution outside the United States, you will need to speak with an officer at the bank.  This can be done in person or on the phone.  To complete the wire transfer, first ensure that you have sufficient funds for the amount of the wire transfer plus our current wire transfer fee.  Our current fee schedule can be found here.  Once you have verified the availability of good funds, you will need to provide the officer with the following information:

The recipient's name and address  as it appears on their account
The recipient's account number, Mexican CLABE #, or International Bank Account Number (IBAN).
The recipient institution's SWIFT code.
The recipient institution's routing transit number - NOTE:  
Some larger institutions have different routing numbers specifically for wire transfers that differ from the branch routing number.  Please confirm this number with the recipient's institution.
The currency type, whether it is in US Dollars or the recipient country's currency (ie, Euro).
Any additional relevant information or instructions for the recipient.
